Autumn Haul

Autumn Haul

I am back! I took a short week long break due to my personal life, I had a bit of a hectic week, but the shopaholic I am still found a way to spend way too much money and so I'm going to share all of my bits and pieces with you.

So, as always I bought makeup I don't particularly need, I mean I am a beauty blogger so it doesn't come as much of a surprise I guess. I have been looking at one particular purchase from the minute it was mentioned online by the beauty brand...

Yes, of course, I am talking about the Urban Decay All Nighter foundation. From the moment Urban Decay introduced it on their Twitter page I have been dying to get my hands on it. It's said to be a full coverage, long-lasting, matte finish foundation, all of my favourite features of a foundation, especially an autumn/winter foundation.

Some more products I had my eyes on for a while were the Benefit eyebrow products, particularly the famous Goof Proof brow pencil. I finally got down to Debenhams and got myself matched to an eyebrow shade before picking it up, although I want to do a review on it, so I won't tell you too much, I will tell you I use it daily because it is THAT good.

Kiko is a shop I tend to pass over despite loving their products, I mean have you checked out my introduction to Kiko post? Check it out here. Because they have put a new store in Buchanan Street in Glasgow I thought I would have a peek inside. I feel in love with a couple of their nail polish shades and I can't wait to see how they will be, for £2.50 each, I couldn't pass them up. I picked up 331 Violet and 365 Tattoo Rose.

I also picked up some necessities, I ran out of my favourite concealer, the NYX HD concealer, I posted all about my obsession with this concealer and you can check it out here. I have tried a wide range of concealers in my time as a makeup lover and this is my absolute favourite of them, amazing coverage, creamy consistency and extremely long lasting.

My Real Techniques beauty blender is disgusting like I'm not going to lie to you, it's plain gross and no matter how much I wash it, it still looks packed in product, so I just had to pick up a new one of course. I love the RT one, but I will eventually try the real Beauty Blender and compare them for you all if you'd like to see that.

When I got the opportunity to do this amazing blog post with St Enoch I was gifted £100 and I bought some incredible products with that £100 including the Naked 2*. My first Naked palette, I feel super behind, but now that I have it I use it almost every day, it has some beautiful shades in it and they are so wearable for every day.

I also picked up the famous Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara* and I am obsessed with it. I was someone who couldn't find a mascara that I liked well enough to call it "my favourite", but I have with this beauty and I don't want to give too much away just in case I decide to do a review, but buy it.

I was also recently gifted an eight-piece eyeshadow brush set by Spectrum Brushes* and I reviewed them if you want to check that post out then click here. I use these brushes almost daily to do my eyeshadow. They are the perfect brushes for an eyeshadow newbie like myself and eight brushes for £29.99 is an insane deal.

Autumn Haul

Who doesn't love a good look in Lush or The Body Shop? My two favourite shops when it comes to taking care of my skin and my body. Both shops just bring out the most perfect goodies for keeping me squeaky clean while looking after my skin and smelling like heaven on Earth.

Every single time I enter Lush I just have to pick up some American Cream conditioner, I cannot tell you how much I love this conditioner, not only does it smell like a sweetie shop, but it also makes my hair super soft, silky and smooth. It's the one product I would recommend to any Lush newbie.

I am not a big bath bomb girl, but I have been dying to have a nice relaxing soak lately and a bath bomb is a perfect way to chill out in the tub. I picked up two bath bombs that I really don't want to use because they are making my room smell so yummy being sat in the bags. The Avobath Bath bomb and the Fizzbanger bath bomb.

I was also drawn in by the bath oils. I have never used any sort of oil in my bath, I have known people to put essential oils in their tub and I know they have countless benefits for your skin by soaking in them, but I have never found one I like enough to lie in, until I came across the Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment bath melt. It smells identical to Snow Fairy and Snow Fairy is my favourite lush shower gel, so of course, I had to have it.

I then had to pop into The Body Shop of course and since I attended an event with TBS where I got samples of three of their five new masks (I only got to sample two sadly due to allergies), I have been wanting to pick up the Himaylian Charcoal face mask, it is incredible, especially for anyone wanting plump, radiant skin. I have since got to sample the other two face masks and the Amazonian Acai is next on my list.

I am obsessed with The Body Shop's Pinita Colada range (I went to the launch event, read about it here) and all items seem to be sold out in my local store except the shower gel, so I decided to pick up the Pinita Colada shower gel and since they had such a handy deal on their shower gels I picked up two and got the Satsuma shower gel too, my absolutely favourite TBS scent.

An essential that I buy every single time I am in The Body Shop is their hand gels, the tiny size bottles are perfect for popping into your bag and I have at least one in every single bag I own, I also have some stocked up in a drawer, I am obsessed especially with the Satsuma hand gel of course, but I also picked up a Strawberry hand gel this time too and it smells beautiful.

And since you get three minis for the price of two in The Body Shop I decided to pick up a mini-sized version of the Chamomile Gentle eye makeup remover, I am obsessed with The Body Shop Chamomile oil cleanser* that I got in a The Body Shop goodie bag from an event, so I hope it will be just as good.

In the same goodie bag as the Chamomile oil cleanser was the Drops of Youth Serum*, I have been using this twice daily since I got it and it is still going strong, but I will be repurchasing it, I adore it and the bottle is so cute being sat out on a shelf with my other skincare goodies.

Do you like some of the products I mentioned? Any thoughts on them?
