Products That I Will Always Repurchase

Early morning, you finally get yourself out bed, you've scoffed down the quickest breakfast you've ever made and rush to your mirror to sort your face, I mean it's okay if you're late as long as you look good right? One problem: you've used up all your favourites.

Okay, so truth be told, this has never actually happened to me and on the off chance I have used up a product I adore I always have a nifty back-up, the wonderful life of a beauty blogger, am I right? Although, there are products that I reach for almost daily and I tend to run out of them all too often for my liking, but I'll forever repurchase.

I always want to try out new products whether it be the foundation everyone is raving about, the new Urban Decay release or just a product that caught my eye in Boots. I all too often am roped into 3 for 2 deals and my brain telling me "Ah, but Robyn, you can blog about it, so you need it". I just can't help myself, but then there are products that no matter how many other products I buy, they just never live up to them, my holy grails.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer
A love story for the ages. I was 17 years old when I first bought Hoola, it was my first Benefit purchase, after having one of the lovely workers at the counter put it on me, I knew I just had to have it, cliche, I know, but it's true.

I have always had a rather humongous fear that bronzer would look muddy on me, but I also detest bronzer filled with glitter and sparkle, I can't quite put my finger on why, but I was on the hunt for a matte bronzer and here was the one I would wear for the next three years consecutively.

Hoola, packaged in the signature boxed powder packaging lived up to the hype that surrounded it and to this day holds one of the top spots for my favourite beauty pieces. A matte powder that can be used to give a bronzed finish or be built upon for a Kardashian-worthy contour.

NYX HD Concealer
A newer purchase which is held high on the list of things I would buy over and over again. When NYX was first released in UK Boots I had no idea where to start, what to buy. Although I never read a single blog post on this product, I was drawn to the similar consistency to Collection's famous concealer.

For a girl with discolouration around my eyes and a rather unhealthy sleeping pattern, a good concealer is a must and this one definitely, holds all the cards. I have tried both high end and drugstore concealers ranging from £2 to £20 and none seem to do it for me like this £5.50 NYX one does.

A doe foot applicator making it easy to apply the creamy concealer, with just one swipe it can cover any blemishes effortlessly. Although it holds very little product leading to it running out rather swiftly, I would forever buy this product. (Click here for my full product review)

The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Highlight
The product I am yet to actually run out of, but that I would have no problem buying 50 of at once just in case of discontinuation. I am sure everyone knows of Mary and her Lou Manizer sisters, although, I am yet to add Cindy or Betty to my collection (I plan to, especially now there is a Lou Manizer trio palette).

I have a large place in my heart for highlight, the brighter the better is my motto. (read my post here on the dos and dont's of highlight) I love to experiment with highlight, trying numerous consistencies, brand's and formulations, my favourite being a liquid or cream highlight with powder on top, that powder mostly always being Mary Lou.

Mary Lou is a rather large, compact powder highlight with champagne, golden tones. Whether you are going for a dewy look, a glowing goddess look or a flat out glazed donut look Mary Lou is your gal, easily buildable to give a natural glow or a glow seen from space, never before have I tried such a long lasting highlight that looks perfectly intact after a grueling shopping trip.

Maybelline Brow Satin Eyebrow Pencil
Unlike most beauty fans, I haven't tried the ABH dipbrow, I plan on purchasing it soon to see what the fuss is about, but since I picked up the Brow Satin I haven't felt the need to pick up any more brow filling products, plus I am pretty hopeless at the whole filling in your brows with a brush thing, getting there, slowly, but surely.

Brows mean a lot to me, I mean personally, my brows are my favourite thing about my face, the thing I most often receive compliments on. Actually, to let you in on a secret, I have never let another person pluck or wax my brows for fear of them being ruined, that is how much I care for the caterpillars above my eyes.

The Maybelline Brow Satin is a handy little tool with a screw-up brow pencil on one side and a squishy brush on the other, for me, the brush doesn't get used very often, although I did love it when I first purchased the brow satin. I use the pencil to easily fill my brows, give the illusion of hairs where they are sparse and create a tidier looking brow - it is super simple and easy to use. Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
I am sure you've all heard of this little bottle of goodness, not only is it one of the most popular setting sprays on the planet, but it's also, in my opinion, the best. If I have makeup on, there is a 99% chance I have this spray locking it all in place.

After purchasing this product the first time, I mean I am on my like twelfth bottle now, I couldn't quite believe what I was missing out on. My makeup was lasting four hours at the most, but a quick spray of All Nighter and it locked, sealed in place for up to 16, possibly even longer if I were to give it a longer trial.

The All Nighter Spray is extremely easy to use after you have applied your makeup, pop the lid off, spritz some onto your face in any formation that suits you and voila, everything from your base to your highlight is locked in place, no need for touch ups, no need for worrying, just get on with your day.
