Are Face Brushes Worth It?

Sunday, 28 June 2015

On Monday I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Magnitone Lucid. A Magnitone Lucid is a deep cleansing brush and an extremely popular product across the blog-sphere at the moment. I have now used the product for 7 days and have created a small diary to give my opinions of the brush across the week.

The massive package I received contained the Magnitone along with an instruction manual, charger and transferable plug, a letter from Magnitone, a pink notebook with the logo on the front and of course the invoice.

Upon receiving the package I had a nosy at everything, making sure it all worked and flicking through the manual, it all seemed super exciting and I couldn't wait to use the marvellous product.

I started on the Monday night adding it into my skincare regime. I had never used a face brush before so I had to look through the instructions which were super easy to understand with illustrations to show how to use the brush to it's fullest potential.

The brush comes with two different modes, a sensitive mode, which I use, and a deep clean mode which I have used once this week. I think I will continue to do so using the sensitive mode most days and the deep clean once a week to deep cleanse and exfoliate.

You split your face into 3 sections and spend 20 seconds on each section, but no need to worry, the brush times it all for you beeping when the 20 seconds are up and turning off at 60 seconds making sure you spend no longer than a minute cleansing your face.

Here is a diary of how my experience went...
